Job Description

Editor & AI Innovation Lead

Haute Living is a premier luxury media platform covering dining, real estate, design, law, lifestyle, and culture. We are seeking a Miami-based Editor & AI Innovation Lead who combines exceptional editorial judgment with advanced, hands-on experience using AI applications, building AI agents, and automating workflows.

We are looking for an experienced, intellectually curious professional who can help shape the future of our company—producing outstanding editorial content while identifying, building, and implementing AI tools that improve how we work.

This position requires more than basic familiarity with ChatGPT. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of AI applications and can demonstrate practical systems they have built or implemented.

Responsibilities

Editorial & Content

  • Write, edit, and publish compelling content across Haute Living platforms, with an emphasis on luxury lifestyle, dining, real estate, design, and culture.
  • Conduct interviews with industry leaders, entrepreneurs, chefs, developers, and local tastemakers.
  • Manage and publish content in WordPress, maintaining accuracy, quality, and Haute Living’s luxury brand voice.
  • Develop content strategies that strengthen visibility across traditional search and AI-powered discovery, including SEO and generative engine optimization (GEO).
  • Attend and cover select Haute Living events, assisting with promotion, on-site content capture, and editorial recaps.

AI Development & Leadership

  • Lead the evaluation and adoption of AI applications across editorial, research, content production, marketing, and company operations.
  • Build and manage AI agents and automated workflows that solve practical business problems and reduce repetitive work.
  • Connect AI tools with content management systems, internal resources, and other business applications.
  • Create repeatable processes for AI-assisted research, writing, editing, fact-checking, and publishing, with appropriate human review.
  • Train team members, document workflows, and help establish effective standards for AI use.
  • Evaluate new tools critically, considering output quality, reliability, cost, privacy, and business value.
  • Measure results and continually improve the systems you implement.

Requirements

  • Strong educational foundation and demonstrated professional experience in editorial, journalism, digital media, technology, or a related field.
  • Excellent writing, editing, research, and interviewing skills, supported by a strong portfolio.
  • Advanced, hands-on experience with AI applications such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or comparable platforms.
  • Demonstrated experience building AI agents, multi-step automations, or integrated AI workflows , with examples you can explain and present.
  • Ability to move from an idea to a working solution, troubleshoot problems, and evaluate results.
  • Familiarity with automation platforms such as n8n, Make, or Zapier; experience with APIs, coding, or AI-assisted software development is a strong advantage.
  • Experience with WordPress and content management systems.
  • Understanding of SEO, AI search visibility, and digital publishing.
  • Sound editorial judgment, including the ability to identify inaccurate AI output, verify sources, and protect confidential information.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to teach colleagues with different levels of technical experience.
  • Must be based in Miami and available to work on-site at our Brickell office , with availability for select events.

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary based on experience and capabilities.
  • Health benefits and additional perks.
  • The opportunity to help lead AI innovation within an established luxury media company.
  • Direct collaboration with company leadership and teams across multiple luxury industries.
  • Access to exclusive events, tastemakers, and industry leaders.
  • A creative, collaborative team in the heart of Brickell.

How to Apply

Please submit your résumé, editorial writing samples, and examples of AI agents, applications, or automated workflows you have built or implemented . For each AI example, briefly explain the problem, your contribution, the tools used, and the results.

We are looking for someone who can combine strong storytelling with technical curiosity and practical execution—and help lead Haute Living into its next chapter.
